ARBOR Technology Announces New Embedded Programmable Controller EPC-6200

ARBOR technology announces the EPC-6200, an embedded programmable controller designed to be applied in automation area such as industry automation, machine automation and intelligent building system.

The EPC-6200 adopts ETX CPU module, with the built-in Intel 945GSE/ICH7M chipset and supports the Intel Atom N270 processor, as well as supports system memory DDR2 SO-DIMM up to 2GB. Plus the wide range of DC power input from 12 to 30V, the EPC-6200 can be applied in different areas. The EPC-6200 equips with rich I/O interfaces, besides the standard COM, LAN, USB ports and Digital I/O, two PC/104-Plus slots provide multi-expansion function that enable customer to expand further based on the usages.

The EPC-6200 emphasizes the vibration-resistant, fanless design and the built-in SRAM. It can support emergent data backup that keeps updating the latest system parameters. When power failure occurs, the system will save the last action and will automatically proceed with the follow-up after power resume, without spending extra manpower and time to reset the parameters. It can then minimize the risk of data missing risk as well.
Besides automation application mentioned above, the EPC-6200 can also be applied as in-vehicle system or in container ship monitoring the temperature, pressure and fuel meter as well as in unmanned environment such as tollbooth and natural gas alarm system. Also, with the easy installation and maintenance features, the EPC-6200 can help customer upgrading system, reducing cost and speeding time to market.
